What causes my iPhone or iPad disabled ?
An iPhone will be disabled for one minute after six consecutive failed passcode attempts. The seventh wrong passcode attempt will lock you out for 5 minutes, the eighth attempt for 15 minutes and the tenth for an hour.
If you do not enter the correct passcode after ten attempts, you will get the message that the iPhone is disabled.
What is the Solution for this ?
To recover the disabled iPhone or iPad follow the following steps inorder to recover.
So in this method we use iCloud inorder to recover because iTunes is does not supported by chromebook. (iTunes is the preferred recovery method by Apple)
*Note - By doing this method, you’re likely to lose some of your content, but it’s still worth going through these steps to get your iPhone working again. It is Recommended to Backup via iTunes or iCloud.
IMPORTANT - Make sure that you have Find My iPhone enabled. If you turned off Find My iPhone at any point and didn't turn it back on, you won't be able to use this method.
So,let's Jump in to the tutorial.
1. Open iCloud on the browser
Open icloud.com/find on the browser.
2.Log in to your account using your Apple ID and Password
3. Click "All Devices" at the top of the screen.

5.Click Erase iPhone or Erase iPad
6.Confirm your decision and click "Erase"
(Note that it would erase all your data, so it is Recommended to keep a backup via iTunes or iCloud)

8.Click Next,click Next on the upper-right corner.
9.Click Done, Click The "done", So this will completely erase the device.
10. Wait for your iPhone to finish erasing, it takes up only several minutes to complete the process. Once you see various language's versions of "Hello" flashing across your iPhone's screen, you may proceed.
11.Restore your iPhone or iPad using your Backup (If Required). Restore your iPhone or iPad using your Backup via iTunes or iCloud.
- If your iPhone has an activation lock on it, you'll need to enter your Apple ID email address and password in order to restore a backup in iTunes.
- If you don't have a backup available, you'll need to set up your iPhone as a new iPhone.
